Opponent Reverses Claim of NRA Endorsement

Since April 18th, one of Kyle Koehler's primary opponents in the race for the 79th House seat has been claiming they were endorsed by the NRA.

In reality, his opponent, Rick Chimento, had only received a "B+" rating based on his questionnaire.

Kyle Koehler has received an "A" rating based on his questionnaire (indicated with an "Aq" since all the candidates in this race are non-elected officials who have yet to vote on gun legislation).

Koehler is the ONLY candidate to endorsed by the NRA for the 79th House seat.

Koehler's other opponent, Argeri Lagos, received only a "C+" rating.  According to the NRA Political Victory Fund website, a "C" rating is "Not necessarily a passing grade".

Koehler is also the only candidate to receive an endorsement from the Buckeye Firearms Association (BFA).  Apparently, Chimento didn't respond to the BFA's survey while Lagos received only a "C" rating from the Buckeye Firearms Association.

"There are many issues in this race" said Koehler. "Jobs being the most important.  But many voters are concerned about issues like the government's attempt to infringe on individual gun rights.  It is important to know which candidates support gun rights and which do not."
